My name is Colonel Prithi Vohra (Retired), and I am delighted to share my lifelong love for dogs with fellow pet lovers through this website.
I had the honour and privilege of serving in the Indian Army for many years. Army life taught me discipline, courage, compassion, and the importance of loyalty—qualities that I also found reflected in the wonderful dogs who became part of my family.
After retiring from the Army, I continued pursuing my passion for learning, writing, and travelling. I have been fortunate to travel extensively across the world, visiting countries including the United States (on numerous occasions), Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Greece, Romania, Mexico,Nepal, Thailand and St.Kitts in the Caribbeans. These journeys allowed me to experience different cultures, but one thing remained constant everywhere—the extraordinary bond between humans and their pets.
A Family of Dog Lovers
I belong to a family that has always loved dogs. To us, dogs are never “just pets.” They are loyal companions, trusted friends, and cherished members of the family who fill our lives with unconditional love and happiness.
Among all the wonderful dogs that have shared our lives, two hold an especially precious place in my heart—our beloved Dachshund pair, Ceaser and Suzie.
In Loving Memory of Ceaser and Suzie
This website is lovingly dedicated to the everlasting memory of Ceaser and Suzie.
During my Army career, they were much more than household pets—they were faithful companions who brightened every single day.
One memory remains as vivid today as it was years ago.
Whenever I returned home after a long and often demanding day at the office, Ceaser and Suzie would already be waiting for me. The moment they heard my footsteps or the sound of my vehicle, they would rush excitedly to greet me. Their tails wagged with unstoppable enthusiasm, their eyes sparkled with happiness, and they welcomed me as though I had been away for years.
No matter how stressful or tiring the day had been, that joyful welcome instantly lifted my spirits. Their unconditional love needed no words. It was pure, sincere, and heartfelt.
Those precious moments remain among the happiest memories of my life.
Although Ceaser and Suzie have crossed the Rainbow Bridge, they continue to live forever in our hearts. Their love, loyalty, and devotion inspire this website and everything it stands for.
