In Loving Memory of Ceaser & Suzie
There are some friends who leave paw prints on our floors, and there are others who leave paw prints on our hearts forever. My beloved Dachshunds, Ceaser and Suzie, belonged to the latter.
For nearly a decade, they filled our home with unconditional love, endless joy, and unforgettable memories. They were never “just dogs.” They were cherished members of our family, faithful companions, and loyal friends who stood beside us through every season of life.
One of my fondest memories is returning home from my office after a long day. Before I could even open the gate completely, I would see Ceaser and Suzie eagerly waiting for me. The moment they spotted me, their tails would wag furiously, their little feet would race towards me, and their eyes would sparkle with pure happiness. Their excitement was genuine and unconditional. No matter how tiring my day had been, their warm welcome instantly lifted my spirits.
As a retired Colonel of the Indian Army, I have served in demanding environments where loyalty, courage, and companionship are deeply valued. Ceaser and Suzie embodied those very qualities. They taught me that love requires no words. A gentle nudge, a wagging tail, and the simple joy of being together often spoke louder than anything else.
They celebrated our happiest moments and quietly comforted us during difficult times. They were always ready for a walk, a game, or simply to curl up beside us while we relaxed. Every day with them was a reminder that life’s greatest blessings often come wrapped in fur.
When they finally crossed the Rainbow Bridge, they took a part of our hearts with them. The silence they left behind was profound, but so too were the countless beautiful memories they gifted us. Though they are no longer by our side, their love continues to live in our hearts every single day.
This website is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Ceaser and Suzie.
It is my humble tribute to two extraordinary souls who enriched our lives beyond measure. Through this website, I hope to share helpful information with fellow dog lovers, celebrate the incredible bond between humans and dogs, and honour the memory of the companions who inspired it all.
To every visitor who has loved and lost a beloved pet, I understand your journey. The pain of parting never truly disappears, but neither does the love. Love lives on—in memories, in photographs, in stories, and in the lasting imprint they leave on our hearts.
Ceaser and Suzie, thank you for every joyful greeting, every playful moment, every comforting cuddle, and every lesson in unconditional love.
You may have left this world, but you will never leave our hearts.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
With love and gratitude,
Prithi Vohra
